The mission of the Fontana Public Library is to provide free and equitable access to materials and services to meet the current and anticipated needs of our community. We promote creativity, connecting people, and enriching lives.

Meet The Staff

The Library Board and staff of the Fontana Public Library are pleased to announce that Emily Sanders joined the library, as Director, on December 29, 2025. She comes to Fontana from Barrett Memorial Library in Williams Bay, where she most recently served as Assistant Director and brings many years of library experience.

Jodie Porep: Jodie has been with the library since 2000.

Melissa Reiherzer : joined our staff full time in 2025. Melissa conducts a monthly library sponsored book club, as well as working along side others at the circulation desk.

Part-time staff members, Kathy Bikowski, Susan Gilkes-Howell, and Norma Gowlett can be seen helping patrons at the circulation desk or helping with many other library projects.
